Alexandra Camacho Luna, Sc.D., a native Puerto Rican, received her Bachelor of Arts in special education from the University of Puerto Rico. She received her Master of Arts in audiology from the University of Indiana. Dr. Camacho Luna completed her Doctor of Audiology degree at Montclair State University in New Jersey.
Dr. Camacho Luna has more than 10 years of experience in audiology, working with both the pediatric and adult population in this field. Her expertise includes clinical management of pediatric hearing loss and cochlear implants for the pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
Dr. Camacho Luna has been working at Hackensack University Medical Center since June 2003 and at Hackensack Audiology and Hearing Aid Associates since January 2009. She is currently an adjunct professor for the linguistic department at Montclair State University for the American Sign Language (ASL) courses. Dr. Camacho Luna is fluent in Spanish and ASL.
When not at work, she enjoys time with her husband and her children, Dylan and Logan. She also loves cooking, traveling, and exploring other cultures.
