Breana Retin is an audiology resident at Hackensack Audiology and Hearing Aid Associates. A California native, she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders from the University of Alabama and will graduate with her Doctorate of Audiology degree from the University of Arizona. Her clinical experiences include pediatric and adult audiologic assessment and rehabilitation in a variety of settings, including Tucson Medical Center, Banner University Medical Center, and the University of Arizona Speech and Hearing Clinic. In addition to her clinical training, she has participated in outreach through the Arizona Sonoran Border Projects for Inclusion (ARSOBO) in Nogales, Mexico, where she worked with Spanish-speaking patients and interpreters to support access to audiologic services. These experiences strengthened her commitment to serving diverse populations and promoting inclusive communication. Outside of audiology, she enjoys international travel and has visited more than 40 countries, staying active, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
